2004-05 Masters Scholarship Application

Masters ski racers have set up The Far West Masters Athlete Development Fund.  Masters ski racers from the Far West donate all funds, all money goes to Far West junior ski racers, and there is no overhead. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of talent, potential, exemplary work ethic and financial need.

Applications are due September 15th 2004. Awards are made by early November. Funds are then placed into racers’ accounts from which they may draw from during the season for racing expenses.  In return the Masters ask that recipients forerun one of their races and speak at an awards ceremony.  The experience has proven to be quite fun as it allows the junior athlete to show his stuff as well as thank the Masters for their support.

We encourage all Far West athletes to apply.  In the past we have made awards to athletes as young as J3 through Mids.  We have also made awards to athletes who have been turned down in previous years and to athletes who have previously won a scholarship.

We are here to help so please consider applying to this program. As always it is an honor to receive applications from such a great group of athletes. Thank you in advance for applying.
