The Welcome Party will on Friday, July 8th
at Multorpor Lodge in Government Camp from 3-6 pm. Saturday, July 9th is the Giant Slalom on the Palmer
Snowfield, followed by the traditional
BBQ Party at Timberline Day Lodge.
Slalom racing will be on Sunday, the 10th followed by the
awards party. See website for full

There are numerous training
camps scheduled for the week prior to the race.
All the regulars are listed on the web site under the button “Race
Camps”. Find one that suits your needs
and book early. Remember, in Government
Camp, the major ski companies and complimentary industries have next season’s
equipment available for your preseason testing.
Snow and racing conditions
will be optimal at that time. Timberline
has been doing a fantastic job of snow farming this spring. They have built about 50 snow row fences
across the Palmer Snowfield. These “fences”
collect about 4 feet of snow for every one foot of natural snow. The snow is then catted
